Description:JULY,2009, Tuesdays: 7,14,21,28 (4sessions per month)
6:30pm-8:00pm or 8:30pm-10:00pm.
Climbing school is limited to 4 students/class. The class helps new climbers become comfortable, fluid and efficient with equipment and basic climbing movements. After attending Climbing School, the climber has the option to partake
in a lesson with a guide from the EMS Guiding Service.

The Mohonk Preserve announced on Tuesday (4/28) that it was expanding the current route closure established late last year due to a major rockfall. The new closure combines the rockfall closure with a Peregrine Falcon nesting closure.

The expansion of the closure takes the following Gunks favorites out of play:

• Southern Pillar
• Madame Grunnebaum’s Wulst (”Madame G’s”)
• Le Teton
• Northern Pillar
• Hyjek’s Horror
• Bitchy Virgin
