Progression by Big Up Productions features Chris Sharma on one of the world’s hardest sport routes, Jumbo Love. Kevin Jorgeson pushes bouldering to dangerous new heights on Ambrosia. Patxi Usobiaga and Johanna Ernst train for the World Cup and Tommy Caldwell ups the ante on Yosemite’s big walls. First Ascent by Sender Films features top athletes attempting unclimbed walls and peaks around the world from Patagonia and Brazil to Yosemite and beyond. Olaf Soot will be presenting slides from one of his many expeditions. 7:00pm at the Mohonk Preserve Visitors Center. Admission is free. The 2009 All Access Tour Presentation follows Matt Segal’s climbing career from a JCCA youth competitor to a well-accomplished traditional climber. Segal’s show includes images and video from all around the world including England’s infamous Gritstone and the first free ascent of the Central Howser Tower in The Bugaboos, British Columbia CA. The multi media show will be around an hour long and will include either a raffle or an auction filled with lots of swag from: The North Face, Black Diamond, La Sportiva and PMI Ropes.
