I think this happened on Aug 7-8th weekend. The book was autographed by Mr.Williams himself on 5/14/2005. It also has a print out with tick list of some climbs that the owner has done. If you claim the book then I will ask you to name at least a few of those to make sure you’re the right person. cheers, Amit GRI GRI WAS LEFT AT BASE OF MINTY PLEASE CALL FOR REWARD 603 520 3123 OR EMAIL dc5103@hotmail.com Some gear found on the tree on top of Up Yours — describe and it will be returned.

Accident at the Cloudspin Cliff in Wilmington, NYPosted by: w.rich.wilson in Lost & Found, tags: adirondacks, cloudspin wilmingtonOn Saturday July 24th there was an accident at the Cloudspin Cliff in Wilmington, NY that required climbers to leave their gear at the cliff for evacuation. If there is a saintly soul out there who wet and cleaned up our gear for us, thank you. But please let us know, for we would like to get it back. Thanks! I got rained off of Peregrine on 7/11, and had to leave a few pieces behind (three cams, 1 nut, and associated draws). If anyone is up in this area and is kind enough to pull down the gear, let me know, I would be very grateful (and of course, would pay for whatever the shipping cost might be). My email is: thatcher.clay@ gmail.com Lost a grey Dick Williams Trapps guidebook probably at the base of Middle Earth on Sunday, 7/11. It probably got soaked by the thunderstorm, but I’d still love to get it back if anyone found it. Thanks! Found some gear on Betty this afternoon. Tell me who you and your partners are and what you left, and it shall be returned. Hi, I lost a set of Wild Country on a wire-gate biner at the bottom of The Brat, on friday 6/25. My friend and I were toproping and started scrambling around the upper cliff area above the toprope anchor, leaving some stuff at the bottom. According to a girl climbing next to us, some people came by, saw the stoppers, and asked whose they were. The girl did not know whose they were, and the people picked up the stoppers and walked towards the bridge (away from the uberfall). -College student who does not have money to buy new set of stoppers The black one by Dick Williams? probably accidently picked up by another party at the base of Easy O on Monday June 7th. Had some comments on routes climbed, sad to lose my own climbing history. If anyone found it you can reply to holmes.ali@ gmail. com. Thanks. |
