Yup. The Park (RMNP) got a few inches. It wasn't all melted as of yesterday morning. It went down to the mid-40's here in Denver that night... And I could still hear peoples' air conditioners kicking on all night.

Yup, there's been snow. Meeker and Longs were collectively dusty last week, but it melted pretty quick. The central mountains also received their first real snowfall in the last week. I was bivying up at Sky Pond in RMNP last Saturday, and there was no new snow there (though there were 12 hours of howling wind, which convinced us not to do the Petit Grepon after all... ) Loveland ski area has pretty good webcams if you want to keep yourself up to date on the snow in CO. They're usually the first to open. -Carissa
Jackson Hole got an inch or two up top last Saturday. Hope it's a harbinger of a good ski season, because the weather there last week pretty much washed out my climbing plans.

High Sierras got a bunch of snow last weekend, generally above 9,000 feet. A friend in SLC reported that Alta got some snow on the upper slopes the other day. Glad to hear the Jackson Hole news! I'm headed back out there (3rd year in a row) in January (the snowiest month!). Can't friggin' wait!
