So, A-basin opened yesterday! The madness has started... I'm trying to restrain myself and wait for it to be really worthwhile. Might go up Monday if the weather down here doesn't favor climbing.

jebus. lucky bastard - you can tour in the uintahs in utah if you hike your ass off, but no resorts are even thinking about it yet. i was fly fishing in a tshirt last weekend.

I've been climbing in a t-shirt lately too. A-basin and Loveland have installed snowmaking systems the likes of which are usually only seen on the East Coast.

Still haven't gone boarding yet. I'm in St. Louis right now on my way to visit friends and family in DC (with a sidetrip to the Gunks). I fly back on Nov 1 and I am definitely gonna make some turns on the 2nd. Should be well worth it by then.

Hit A-basin Thursday. It was a touch icy (for CO), but worth making a couple runs. Went up today and did Keystone, which had one really good run and a few that still had the tops of trees sticking out of the snow.

Friday I'm going to opening day at Breck and I can't wait!! (Hopefully I'll get some pictures.)
