Okay, I know this is a long shot, but if anyone wants to sell their "grey Dick," I'm interested! Send me a PM.

I'm guessing you are going for a lower price than the $28...?

Otherwise you could pick one up at Rock&Snow or your local shop... Also Amazon carries them...

Yeah, if I can get it for less than retail, I'd like to. Aside from being a cheap bastard, I've heard there's a new edition coming out (is this true?), so if I'm going to pay full price, I'd rather wait for the new book.

If I can't get a used one, I'll borrow my buddy's Grey Dick or just stick with my Gunks Select. And if there really isn't a new edition in the works, I'll pick one up at R&S when I get up there.

I haven't heard of a new edition of the Trapps guide coming out. That's probably too new for a new edition. You may have been confused by the fact that a new near trapps guide is supposed to come out pretty soon. The gray dick is much more useful than the gunks select for anyone who climbs at the trapps pretty regularly.

Yup the grey dick is not nearly old enough, but the black dick might turn grey for the near trapps....or something like that...

Thanks for the update, guys. I won't hold my breath for a used GD, but it was worth a shot. And $28 for a new one is a pretty low price anyway.

The Grey Dick is only like 2 years old.... The next one coming is for the Nears, but it won't be ready by the time you're here next.

By the way - I owe you an email. Looking forward to getting a day or two in when you visit.

And I owe you a biner! Just recently saw that I never sent it to you. It'll be great climbing with you again, see you in late September!
