Mountain top removal to promote mining safety!

Although mountaintop removal is environmentally disastrous, it is safer than underground mining.

Of course.

The obscenity is that GW will use a minor catastrophic failure of the their own relaxation of mining laws to promote yet another big business trade to make a few wealthy at the expense of the environment.

Sure I realize we get some energy out of the deal. But, that energy isn’t what drives the deal or the legislation – it is the profits to the few that makes it desirable for big business.

Yeah, open top mining keeps WV going. I guess Robert Byrd's lifetime deidcation to WV has no impact.

I was writing about our president and close associates. Do you count Byrd as one of them?

C'mon; we all know that many if not most legislative and executive members of both parties spread 'em for the big campaign contributors.

The next thing you are going to say is that Janet Reno was an objective Attorney General and she wouldn't look the other way while "gulp" partisan politics was being practiced.

At least she dealt with the Wackos.

Peace out.
