Buckets Above is as Dana said about 20 ft of sustained climbing at the start with much easier stuff after.

Mr. P's is great sustained 5.8 climbing. You can do it all in one 200 ft pitch.

Cruise Control is a great 5.9 out at Milbrook. Two very interesting pitches.

Have you done any 5.10's. If not there are a ton of well protected climbs to get on well before you are left with Enduro Man or Yellow Wall.

As far as adventure climbing goes you can very easily go to the Trapps and just get on something that you don't know what it is. Chances are if it is obscure on one is going to be yelling beta your way. I have done it a number of times and sometimes you are pleasantly supprised and other times it does not go quite as well. Either way it is always interesting and exciting.

copper,
some how I think we probably know each other at least in passing.
So that being said yeah i've climbed a few 10 as well as some "give me" 11s. grades arn't that important to me (don't laugh you who know me personally) nor is protection ratings though I try to stay clear of "X"'s if I can. even enjoy some soloing on occations. wasn't really posting for a tick list just more of an atitude bump. Mr.P's sounds great if it is 200ft of 5.8 but then its done and we move on. Hmmm, Is there such a thing as climbers depression? I didn't get many road trips in the last year or so maybe that's all I need. perhaps the gunks are just getting old (perhaps i'm just getting old). as for the adventure climbing i can't think of a section of wall in the trapps or nears that I can't name 5 climbs within visibility of where I'm standing. i don't even currently know where my dick is ;\) haven't used it in so long. sigh, I think this winter has been to long for me and i just need some serious refocusing. A quest perhaps.
perhaps all I need is three really sunny slightly warm long days of nothing but climbing with good people, yummy new castles, and one or two shinny new pieces of gear.

Karl,

Maybe you should just be getting up earlier on the weekends and driving to the dacks. Lord knows theres adventure there for even the crustiest old climber.

Or perhaps a new climbing partner... like a convert from the hawaiian tropic swimsuit team... Cluck on brother!

Best,

Jeff
