For those of you familiar with the classic Pegasus on the Lower Beer Wall -- the crux roof has fallen into the snow, sometime between last Thursday and Sunday. So, instead of reaching up to a nice rail with a piton above your head, you now have pro below your feet and need to pull up on crimps, increasing the grade and seriousness a bit. The newly exposed rock is flakey and needs some cleaning.
I climbed the route with Jamie (Jim) Cunningham who did the first ascent. So I guess this would be the first re-ascent. Heh heh. We also hauled a dog up it, so perhaps the first ascent by a dog as well.
The Beer Walls have plenty of dry rock, but you'll need snowshoes to approach and walk around.

Jim,
I see that you have this posted on your web site Corrections page, too. Thanks for making the updated information available (I also see that my guide, rapidly approaching one week old, is already becoming dated.)
I hope that you'll keep the Corrections feature of your site current. It's a useful reference. Will new routes be posted there or elsewhere on the site?

I must have done that route wrong when I did it like....uberteen years ago. I didn't have a pin over my head, and I certainly did not find a rail!! Maybe it will be easier for me now...
