I don't wander by here often, so pardon if this has been covered before. Its definitely not a one-off problem (I had one and two or three others were mentioned over on rc.com), so check your tricams. AFAIK its only with the newer dyneema-slung ones, but is not limited to only one size.

BTW, CAMP was very quick to replace mine and sent along a pair of Nano biners for my trouble.

Check older tri-cams as well (if you still have em on your rack). I tossed one 2 years ago for the same problem (after 4 years of abuse I wasn't suprised it had worn out).
